“The mission of the Diocese of the South and of the Anglican Catholic Church is to adore the Blessed Trinity; to preserve and extend the faith of the Seven Ecumenical Councils and of all the approved doctors and teachers of the Universal Church; to celebrate and present for the salvation of mankind the seven sacraments and to encourage resort to them as well as to prayer, the reading of Scripture, and all other means of grace; to work for the unity of all Orthodox and Catholic Christians; to do all of this by making full use of the glories of classical Anglican liturgy, music, poetry, sermons, and architecture.  We seek to avoid all theological ambiguity where the consensus of the Eastern and Western Churches is clear, and to teach the truth always with charity and patience.”
